In 2012, Oberon changed its trade name to Iplay In 2008, Oberon released games under one publishing brand, I-play. On 1st June 2013, Oberon Media was acquired by iWin In 2012, Oberon Media announced a rebranding of the company, changing its tradename to Iplay, to better reflect the positive changes recently made within the company. Plans for I-play's original franchises, Women's Murder Club, Dream Day, and Agatha Christie, were unknown. In 2011, Oberon closed its in-house game development studio to focus on game publishing and distribution. In 2008, Oberon unified its various publishing effort under the brand, I-play. The acquisition allowed Oberon to publish casual games across three mass market.
The company later acquired other game studios to strengthen its multi-platform strategy but the most notable events are the acquisition of two companies in 2007: a casual mobile games company, I-Play (formerly Digital Bridges) and an interactive television games company, PixelPlay.
